Hunting for prey, or protecting the ships once they make a stop. Rekotans use finely-crafted ships that pierce the waves and roam the seas for new bounty. The worthiness of their leader depends on the deeds they do, not the strength they show. Their settlements are fortified with walls out of wood and bamboo, protected by their most fierce.Įach settlement is led by worthy heroes, Rekotans that hunted great beasts, or conquered foreign tribes. Their homes are huts constructed from bamboo with thatched roofing. Taking inspiration from Polynesian cultures, Rekotans are sea-travelers, hopping from island to island, and settling homes and houses for their folk. These Rekotans are tribal folk living across different archipelagos in the middle of every high sea. It adds to the list of available beastfolk races, taking the place of shark people. The Rekotan are a DnD 5e homebrew shark race I created for one of my Homebrew Campaigns. I sure did…because of this, I created Rekotans! Presenting: The Rekotan Have you ever wondered what it would look like to play as a tribal barbarian that hunts by sensing the blood of his wounded foes? What about roleplaying as a living predator of the seas, banished from his tribe, an outcast. Have you ever searched for a good DnD Shark Race to try out?
